Nasal polyps are tear-shaped growths that develop inside the nose or sinuses. They are largely cancer-free and can reach the size of peeled grapes. Diagnosis of Nasal Polyps –

The presence of nasal polyps is confirmed by a doctor's physical examination. The interior of your nose is examined with a tool called an endoscope. This device has a magnifying lens and a camera for a clear view of the nose and sinuses.

To confirm the presence of Nasal Polyps, doctors may order tests such as an allergy test, an imaging test, or a blood test.

People with allergies, such as sneezing, running nose, and itching within the nose, are more likely to develop nasal polyps than others. Nasal polyps can also be caused by a sinus infection.

Complication of Nasal Polyps –

As the size of the nasal polyps grows larger, they may obstruct the airway and prevent mucus from draining properly.
